March Updates

Just a couple of timely things I wanted to mention:

I’m sending out a newsletter with a free copy of Secret Self next week, so if you want it, make sure you’re subscribed. Probably later in the week to give people a chance to sign up. I currently have no plans to write more of these VBI stories.

Starting today is Smashwords Read An Ebook Week event. Check it out for freebies and discounts all week. Use the RAE50 code for a discount on all of my books over there.

The Cursed bundle will go on sale everywhere at the end of this month.

That’s it, I think. I don’t have much of a “work” update since the last post. It’s a bit early in the month, but things have been good. Mostly editing, but the kind that makes me feel like I’m making progress rather than just sucking the life out of everything. 😀

One of the cats who likes to drop in on us every now and then appears to be pregnant and has decided our house is the place to be. I would have thought the three bouncy dogs we own would be a turn-off, but apparently not. She keeps hunting the slow one. :/ Not sure what I’ll do if she gives birth here!

I’ll do the usual update later in the month. I’m hoping to squeeze in some writing starting tomorrow because I’m feeling unusually inspired. Fingers crossed there will won’t be a kitten distraction.

Have a good one!

I just finished Secret Self I loved it!!! It was crazy to see the different dynamics of the group w/out Ava. Being that it’s possibly the last VBI book I’d say you ended the series on a high note.

Will Phoenix get another novella? This book just made my obsession for him even stronger 😉
He’s a weirdo but he has his moments

Thanks, Sasha. Yeah, he’s up next with Crossroads. That one just needs a bit of a polish, I think. After that, the magic thief will get a story. 🙂 I did write another novella in Ember’s POV, but I’m not sure if it’s worth working on yet. After those, it’s back to full-length Ava stories. I’ve written the next Ava novel, but it needs a lot of work.

Maybe check your junk folder? It could have gotten flagged as spam or something? Next time, let me know before you purchase.

I’m glad you’re looking forward to the next one though. 🙂

Just finished reading Secret Self, and I find myself grinning while I write this. I thought the novella was amazing! I love Ava so much, and I was super excited to find out the book was about her. It was very interesting to see the growth of certain characters throughout the story and I can’t wait to see how Ava will change after such an ordeal. I don’t want to give any spoilers so I’ll stop now. On another note, I can’t wait for Phoenix’s next novella! I kinda hate that I read everything you write so quickly because it makes the waiting sort of unbearable. However, I will wait all the same. Amazing work Claire, as always!!!

I know how it feels to read quickly – it’s the worst!

I’m so glad you were into it. Ava will be in Phoenix’s next story quite a bit, too. I just need to find me some focus because I’m all over the place this month!
